Soma is used with rest and physical therapy to treat acute, painful muscle conditions.
Make sure your doctor knows if you are taking drugs that can make you sleepy such as:
- other muscle relaxants
- sleeping pills
- tranquilizers
- antidepressants
- barbiturates
- or narcotic pain killers
Tell your doctor if you are taking or have taken an MAO inhibitor within the past 2 weeks
You should not use this medicine if you have ever had an allergic reaction to:
- carisoprodol
- meprobamate
- or tybamate
